 The audio of the much awaited film of the year Vasool Raja MBBS was released in a grand manner and there were sky high expectations since it is a Kamal Hasaan film and also the successful combo of director saran and music composer Bhardwaj who have given Hits like Gemini and Jay Jay.
So has the album lived up to the expectations? Read on….
Kalakapovathu Yaaru

It is a customary practice that kamal sings atleast 2 songs in his films.And Vasool Raja is no exception. With kalaka povathu Kamal has once again proved why he is called a versatile artist.He sings with ease and comfort.
Sathyan and VNB have done their part very well and Vairamuthu has penned down some decent lyric. Overall an excellent job done by Bhardwaj. This song is a perfect start for the album.
This one is a foot tapping number but not to fast paced and is already a rage in Chennai and is bound to be numero uno for the next few months.
Pathukulle Number
Kay Kay, Shreya Goshal
Pathukulle Number is that kind of track which is instantly likeable by all. A nice duet with good amount of melody added in it and good harmony ensures this song to be a HIT.
The singers seem to be uncomfortable with their pronunciations but the catchy tune makes it up for the hiccups.Vairamuthu is asusual in his best form. Take for instance this line.. “Kiss endral udhadigal piriyum tamil mutham endral udhadal iniyum”
Alwarpetai Aaluda

In this song Kamal uses his usual Chennai Tamil slang…This song reminds me of Kandhasamy Maadasamy from PKS…
These types of Gana songs are usually liked by the masses and are bound to be a Super HIT.
Well about the lyrics its up to you to decide…Take for instance
“oru doctor Ponna NO sona oru Nurse ponna kadhale”.
Sakalakala Doctor

This song starts with a Rap piece from Donan…The lyrics are penned down very well by Vairamuthu…A nice Peppy song with some nice beats.
This song should go down well with audience…
But too much of English lyrics could have been avoided; similarly use of filters like flange could have also been minimized…
Bharatwaj, Arjun, Donan all of them have performed with utmost perfection.
An instant HIT.
Kaadu Thirande Kidakinrathu

This song would be appreciated by music lovers. A soft melodious tune which is quite classy and beautifully rendered by Hariharan and Sadhna Sargam.
This song will look good on screen and it will be interesting to see how it looks on Screen!!!
Overall a nice number that will be liked by melody lovers.

Cheena Thana is extremely funky type song with fast beats and equally fast renderation by Grace (wife of comedian Karunas).
