6 JOOT (Are You Ready)

STARRING : SRIKANTH, MEERA JASMINE           DIRECTOR : AZHAGAM PERUMAL

MUSIC : VIDYASAGAR      PRODUCTION : SRI LAKSHMI PRODUCTIONS

 NANJILONLINE RATING :

Lover boy of Kollywood Srikanth, who is known for romantic roles in movies like Rojakootam, Parthiban Kanavu and Manasellam and the latest Jhoot Are U Ready, has taken the role of an action hero. He gives a restrained yet a good performance. Directed by Azhagam Perumal , the movie has shades of a few other movies released this year. The quick- changing screenplay with exciting twists and turns makes the movie worth-watching.

Perumal whose previous film Dum Dum Dum was a romantic love story produced by Manirathinam makes a great leap and goes on to render a pulsating action flick. Meera Jasmine stars opposite Srikanth in the movie.

The film is all about Srikanth, the youngest son of Murali, an ex- army man living in a village. Srikanth's eldest brother Shyam Ganesh enters into wedlock much against his father's wishes and settles in the city. Srikanth brings Murali to Chennai for removing a bullet in his neck and succeeds in re-uniting the family. He comes across Meera Jasmine, an advocate living in the same locality. Meanwhile, dadha ( FEFSI Vijayan) threatens everyone in the locality to vacate the colony or face consequences. When everyone fears and decides to leave, Srikanth decides to take on them with the help of Meera Jasmine.

After a long time, Vivek has provided for a good comedy, while songs fail to woo music-buffs. FEFSI Vijayan has certainly overacted and irritates the audience in many of the scenes.
